Neson School is a prestigious private educational institution, anchored on the three core values of Discipline, Good Moral Values and Academic Excellence. Located in Uyo, the capital of Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria, the school community aims at serving the state and country by providing a comprehensive education that caters for the cognitive, moral and vocational needs of every child in an environment that promotes excellence and creativity; and that thrives on making learning attractive and captivating.
Founded October 4, 1999, Neson School operates a broad-based developmental and multi-vocational curriculum for her Pre-primary, Primary and Secondary schools. At the child developmental stage, the school curriculum and programs are tailored to accommodate children from three years of age in Reception classes through eleven years of age in Primary five where they take the entrance examinations into Secondary schools
The school community also offers vocational skills such as: Tailoring, Catering, Barbing, Perfume making, Soap making, Vaseline production, Baking etc. While the ICT skills are: Web design, Graphics design, Computer design etc. Students learn these skills during the six years of their academic journey in the secondary section; and on graduation, a certificate of completion is issued to them alongside the school's Testimonial and the WAEC/NECO certificates.
Neson School is duly registered, Approved and recognized by the Akwa Ibom State Ministry of Education. The students and pupils of Neson Schools have distinguished themselves in various competitions and Examinations that have earned the school some awards and accolades; such as the Brilliance and Excellence Performance Award, 2024 Akwa Ibom Teens craft Award. The school produced one of the Highest scorers in 2024 Jamb in Akwa Ibom State.
